My credo
I need more sleep.
So I'm looking for a 6 inch spindle and shackle lift, I have the torsion bar front suspension, who makes good ones that are reasonably priced? I found some on ebay that are 1k...

Camburg makes a 6 inch lift, its a really nice setup, but its $1700 but well worth it in my opinion especially if you plan on doing any prerunning or offroading. This is only to lift the front, it does not include anything for the rear.

Fabtech also makes a lift but its only a 3 inch lift, but it comes with blocks for the rear lift. It is cheaper at about $750.

For the rear, just the shackle wouldn't be enough for the 3 inch, you would have a little bit of a rake to the truck like a prerunner does. You can run deaver leaf springs to 2.5 inches of lift and a longer shackle then you should be close to 6 inches.

Hmm, I might just get the fabtech lift, just for a even 3 inch lift, but it says the back goes only 2 inches? Am I just missing something? Cause that would make it a 2 inch lift, since the front would have to be 1 inch less to match the back. Later I'll probably end up getting mid or long travel suspensions..

Your not missing anything. It lifts the front 3 and the back 2. They do this so it levels the truck out. From the factory the back is about an inch higher than the front, so the kit will make the truck sit level.

When you later upgrade to a mid or long travel suspension camburg is the place to go, they also have other kits the torsion bar two wheel drive then the one I posted.

Ahh, well I cranked my torsion bars so that its only 1/2 an inch off from the back.. I guess I could put them back down, then I'd have to get another alignment, well I guess I'll have to get one anyways with the lift. That makes sense now, but yea really I'm just going for the look, later is when I'll be getting serious.
