wondering if 6" SJ coils will work with 4" drop brackets. Truck is a 84 ranger shortbed, 302 v8, and d35 front axle. Will this make the camber way off or at least alignable with camber bushings?

The ext cab 4.0L trucks drop down to the 4.5" holes for best alignability, so I'd think with the 302 would probably cause the front to drop far enough to make the camber within spec for a set of 4" brackets.

im going to run 4" brackets and try it, i have alot of extra weight so i think it will workout.

You can run the 6" coils on 4" brackets without issues on a 4.0L supercab (many people do, including myself for some time)... so with a 302 you should have no problem whatsoever.

Just get it professionally aligned, I'd say.

I'm running that setup right now. I had bit of trouble getting it aligned but it wasn't nearly as bad as when I had the 4" coils.
