5R55e O.D. light flashing

I was driving my '97 in the snow and cold last night and I stopped at a gas station for a sec and I noticed the O.D. light flashing and nothing happend when I pressed the button, it stayed flashing until I shut off the truck and restarted it. any thoughts guys?

There's a transmission trouble code popping up and its stored in memory. Take it to a transmission shop and get it read.
