Hello,
I have a 2005 Ranger Edge with 4.0 and 4wd. Transmission is shot, as I only have 1, 3, 4th gears. I have adjusted the OD band to spec, fluid/filter swap, replaced the external sensors. No change
I am now looking for a donor transmission.
What years are a direct replacement for the 2005 4.0 w/ 4wd?
I have scoured the site and have found only one thread stating I could use 2001-2011 5r55e. I am hoping someone can confirm this or, if incorrect, could give the the correct data.
