what parts do I need other then trans brake padel do I need the engine wiring harness and computer to

Depends on year. Computer, and shifter, and maybe neutral lockout [ I can't think of the proper term for the wire going to the ??? at the end of the trans? As doorgunner says, "it's the meds"
Good luck,

Richard

if you swap in a non computer controlled auto like a c5, c4, aod, all you will need is a kick down cable, main vac, and to run you clutch safety switch wires to the neutral safety switch on the new trans

what about milage tho

I worry about MPG's but then, I worry about how to get the mileage out of my left knee also. I have to nurse my knee using a clutch or I can baby it with an automatic. Right now, with the Ranger out of action with a blown head gasket, I am driving a Vanagon mainly because the other four vehicles in my stable aren't running. If some of the kinder folks were to lend a hand, or even a gasket or two, it wouldn't be a problem for long. Enough of my tribulations, the wife I am blessed with makes it all worth it.

my problem is my back and the 5 spds to much so I don't know what to do about that automatic are so high to fix and brake a lot well the new ones the old c4 c5 are more reliable but with lower milage
