5-6 MPG? Somethings wrong.

does it run rough? try unhookin the battery and resettin your parameters. while you are at it pull you spark plugs and see if they are fouled. you gotta give us some feed back about what you did that we suggest.

i put 15 inch tires on my truck and i was getting 10.5. i put plugs and wires in, fuel filter, then my transmission went out. now im getting 16.5

My truck has a 20 gallon tank, I completly filled it up. Reset trip odometer I drove 50 miles and I had half a tank. 50/10=5

So because the gauge shows 1/2 tank, you're assuming you actually burned exactly 10 gallons? Maybe the gauge doesn't work. Did it actually take 10 gallons to fill it back up again?

And very important, as someone mentioned earlier, did you recalibrate your speedometer after you installed bigger tires?

ok im from springfield MA. the truuck runs great but i have no idea what the guy did to the truck before me. i have pretty much no free time so if you give me suggestions ill do the as soon as i get the time. i saw my truck on liftedrangers page and was like holy crap thats my truck. im getting HORRIBLE gas mlieage. i dont know if the speedometer was re calibrated or not. i didnt think it was possible to get that kind of gas mileage outa a v6. i have the power of my 2.3 with the gas mileage of my dads 5.7 and its pissing me off
