haha true enough, Brian. Hey I'm gonna call you tomorrow I think. What are you doing say, after 5pm? My factory Tach is being all kinds of retarded again so I wanna go ahead and get the new one in.
I imagine the crappy numbers can be easily remedied. All of Ford's 302 blocks are essentially the same, with the only real differences being the cams, heads, and pistons, etc. I imagine that if I were to use a higher compression piston, a decent carb (750cfm Edelbrock), a lighterweight crank, the new cam/heads/intake, and maybe a slightly thinner head gasket (more compression), I should be able to generate some decent numbers and make the thing run more like the newer 302 motors that Ford Racing makes now.
