How many of you have used one on your swap?? What's the fit like?? Does it keep everything nice and cool? Any issues in using one? I'm just not too keen on the idea of dropping major $$$ on the Duff aluminum, or something comparable.

to big.... thats why the 4.0 heavy duty(2 row) radiator is used

i used the explorer one and it works fine for me

I am looking at a late 90's Jeep Wrangler radiator. Looks like it will fit nicely inside the core support. Just one of my many odd ideas. The Jeep rad was for all Wranglers including the 4.0 and the v-6 so I am guessing it could handle a stock 5.0.

are you using the stock fan? you may fit it if you use a low profile electric fan and remove the old fan and studs from the water pump

I used an old school radiator out of a 79 t-bird...mech. fan with a 1" spacer...fit fine...but i had to take out some a/c components up front....

Explorer HD rad from a 91-94 with auto trans works great. I run a mech fan and it keeps it cool really well.
