ok so i just pulled the cam out of my 71 302 and heres what i got for number

theres a stamp that says CC and 2 stamps that say 260H.. which i already know the 260H is the grind number.. i was just wondering if anyone knows what the CC stands for? crane cams maybe? heres pics

Yes imo comp makes good cams,I have ran many of them with no problems.
 
Comp cams are no worse than others made today. They've suffered thru the same problems the others have in the past few years with failures of cams and lifters. The 260H is nothing more than a slightly warmed up stock cam. Good for gas mileage and little else.
 
i read that the 260h is for low end torque and gas mileage
