4x4 v8 Ranger

wait thomas you're gonna race tonelli's rig? awesome!

Yes I will be racing tonellis truck for the imperial 250 he will run lap 1 I get lap 2 and maybe 3 depending on how we are doing. Should be very different then any of the other trucks I've raced.

They are 17x8 6.25 backspacing. We will probably be working on the 4.5in backspacing soon.

They are 5 on 5.5. But we can do custom stuff when needed

Just to answer this since Thomas missed it: between 600 and 700 based on the price of the others.

Thanks I missed that,
Msrp is $799 (but who pays retail) most racers will be able to pick them up for $699

Each I take it...

Yeah that's for each. forged beadlocks aren't cheap and there isn't many company's making them. I think method is the only one(other then carl renezeder who custom makes his own to look like methods, but in our backspacing) and they are pretty much the same price and they don't offer this back spacing or the water shedding rings.

Yea... For my street queens and slow rocker, little too steep for this fella!

They do look fawking bad ass though!

They are too pricey for a lot of people and we don't expect to sell tons of them. But any racer who is concerned on making the vehicle bulletproof is going to want these wheels.

Started stripping the front end of the prerunner. Only have 3 weeks to finish it for my birthday trip/photo shoot.

But I bet they are worth every penny!!

So what are you doing to the Prerunner?!

We cut off the front bumper/skidplate and beam pivots and are building new ones to replace all the damaged stuff. I've had new beams ready to build just sitting behind the garage for the last year. Finally have an good reason to start building them.

44 beams or sticking with 35s?

Going with a wild looking bumper/skid or something plain?

It's already d44 just going to copy the old beams with extra plates where it had cracked.

Nothing crazy with the bumper just fixing it so the skid plate is square. The new skid plate will come straight down before going back. This will make the licences plate seen better from the front and make the skid plate not so tall and steep.

Had a blast at the HDRA imperial 250 this weekend driving Nick Tonellis truck. We ran an great race and everyone had a great time. Tonelli normally races in Score like my dad but races in 15(sportsman truck) instead of 7. This HDRA race we wanted to run class 14 like I normally run my trucks in because it normally gets the most entrys and has the most competition. We signed up in class 14 and entered our number as 1449 which is my normal number (his is normally 1549 so it would be an easy change) we went threw contingency/tech and couldn't find any venders with a yellow 4 so asked the officials what to do and they said just run with the 1549 on it. After the race we looked at the results and they ended up scoring us as the 15. We called and asked what happened so they fixed it and they went ahead and scored us in both classes.
We split the 4 laps up with Nick tonelli driving the first lap with me co driving, about 5 miles from the end of the first lap we went to go into a corner hit the brakes and nothing happened so we blew right threw the corner lucky it was one with somewhere to go, once we got out we found out the brake line to the passengers front caliper broke so we capped it and kept going to main pit where we could repair it. I drove the 2nd lap with my dad co driving and ran with no issues but passed a bunch of cars back that passed us when we were fixing the brakes. we ended up going from dead last up to 10th when we stopped for our 3rd lap. At this point my dad was supposed to start driving but thought because the radio wasn't working and I couldn't give him feedback on how the truck was running he felt I could run the next lap much faster then him so let me keep driving, the 3rd lap we sold the seat for a veterans charity and a solder who recently returned from Afghanistan hoped in and we had a flawless 3rd lap also and picked up 1 more positions. Nick tonelli hoped back in with Brett Sloppy and went out for the last lap letting Brett sloppy come over the finish line for us.

we ended up 2nd in 15. 8th in 14 and 13th overall. No a bad way to make up for our last 2 dnfs.
