4X4 swap or Pre-Runner?

I have an 87 mazda b2000 i was gonna do a 4x4 swap but was just thinking about it and was wondering what you guys thougt for my year of truck what i should do i have 1990 bronco axles and i need a tranny, then i can have a 4x4 i dont know what to do when it copmes to making my truck a pre runner except lift tires and a nice set of suspension components

My first answer would be to check out some of the build threads and go from there. Prerunner usually means longer I beams, nice wide fenders (usually fiberglass), some extended shocks, coilovers are great. In all honesty, I'd go by usefulness. I personally dont have anywhere I can use a prerunner. It's more convenient for me to find a place I can either mud or climb rocks in. Prerunning usually requires some speed, a lot of dirt and sand. Up to you. *shrug*

well i have spots for both i have a beach not super far away, but i guess im more asking what one is easyer and cheaper because i dont know if a 1990 5-speed wil bolt up to my 2.0

This question took me a year to figure out, and even though it may be next to useless for me here in NC, I'm still going to go Pre-Runner. I don't know why but I just liked it more. Maybe it was the look of the thing, I don't know. Something in my head was screaming PRERUNNER at me.
