yesterday, after 2 minutes running in 2 wheel drive, the lights in the cluster
for 4WH and 4WL both come on in the same time and they flash 4 or 5 times.
And this happen every 2 or 3 minutes.
Then, I stop and try to put my pickup in 4 wheel drive. Nothing happen; neither the click sound when I rotate the 4W switch nor the 4WH light.
Any one with an answer

cheack fuses, then if that dosent work pull ur dash and look at the wires. the ford deralrship put too big of a fuse into my truck in the circut that controols the dash and the running ligths. melted the wires behind the dash all to hell and i had to pull em apart and re tape them. if not get under ur truck and run a test ligth on the wires going to the t case motor. but if the ligths are flashing its probaly a fuse or a bad switch

Today, before I look and test fuses; I try the inside 4Wdrive rotary switch ho
surprise everything is working good.
That mean a bad wire somewhere. I have to eliminate the fuses
That trouble will come back............... when I will need my 4Wdrive
