HI, I have a question. I was doing some yard work yesterday at my brothers house and dicking around and kept gettin stuck in his yard when I shouldent have. Then I noticed my front wheels werent spinning. My 4x4 light was lit up and when i put it in to 4x4 you could hear the transfer case engageing, but it was obvious that my front wheels werent engageing. I havent had a chance to look at anything yet due to classes, but i will be checking it out later today, so do any of you guys know what this could be?:dunno:

You have a 99' ranger, with Pulse Vaccum Hubs, which suck...

Most likely you hubs are not engaging, when it is in 4wheel drive, creep forward and have a buddy look to see if the front driveshaft is spinning, if it is, then it gotta be within the front axles, a hubs/differential issue

Thanks a lot, I checked everything out and its definitely the hubs so im gonna get the avm locking hubs to replace them.
