I own a 1997 Ford Ranger 4x4.

The fuse under the hood, for 4x4 keeps blowning.
I changed the engagement motor on the transfer case, because it was not working. Then found blown fuse under the hood, replaced and it worked for about a month.
Now it does not work again, every time I try to install a fuse, with the key off,it just blows.
I was wondering if anyone knew where the wires from,or to the fuse are located?
Or anything else I could check?

Also, the u-joint by the front differential is shot.
Is there any tricks to getting it off.I tried with a ball joint removal tool, but there was not enough room.Did not want to remove the front differential to get at the snap ring,or whatever holds on the shaft.
Any help on that would be great.

Thanks for taking time to look at this post.
