I want an OHC for my truck, and to swap my rear leaf springs for the explorer ones because mine are garbage. At local pick & pulls, that'll run me a little over $200. i found a 1997 explorer XLT 4dr 4x4 for $500, i may even be able to get it a bit cheaper. and down the road i want to do a 4x4 conversion on my 08 sport. can i use the parts off the explorer like t-case, front axle, drive shaft and all that fun stuff for my truck? i know it has an electronic t-case, and the 4x4 works fine, the body is just in rough shape and it was hit by a snow plow so its missing a couple windows on the passenger side, which i don't care about. i'm just going to be stripping it down and scraping whatever i dont use. is it worth it to buy it?
