hey guys .
have a 2000 ford ranger 4x4
looking to lower the rear
heard about lowering shackles..
any feedback on them ?
and is there anything else i would need to do besides just shackles?
thanks for your time

Shackles on a ranger are inverted, so instead of a drop they actually provide lift. If you want to lower the rear of the truck look and see if you have a block between the axle and the leaf springs. If you do(I think you do) you can remove that and get a small drop.

just an adaptation of the 64 inch chevy leaf spring swap.. but you can flip your rear hanger upside down and that would make it similar to a chevy, from there any shackle you put on will technically be a drop shackle.
