i was wondering if it is remotly possible???

By all means it is. the bigger question is what do you want out of it? lifted 10" or 2"? street friendly or a trail only beast?

Decide on what you want it to do, and keep plugging away on the internet(Google) and asking your truck friends on ways to possibly accomplish it. As a hint, check out other stock/factory 4x4 vehicles for inspiration on how it can be done/accomplished.

the only way its even remotley possible is to do an SAS the 2wd has a completely different frame than the 4x4 rangers.

i want it to be fairly street friendly im not lookin at gettin to extreme with it

torsion bars = yes, bolt on, minus t-case

coil springs = no, alot of custom work

t-bars will not bolt on unless its an edge, than it already has tbars. and all he would need is a new tranny and tcase. But still on a truck this new its more trouble than its worth.

well its is basically an edge the sport replaced the edge

then, you have a 4x4 front suspension. you will need a 4x4 front end, tcase, trans, and all the wiring associated.

was keeping answer simple, comes up alot,

if truck has t-bar the front diff mounts up front, and will bolt up, versus coil springs, no mounts

donors

98-00(vacumn hubs not perfered)
00+ ranger/b-series
95-01exploder.

t-case(can get from above, or down to 83),

need to swap tranny output and add a t-case adapter(factroy)

I still don't think it is worth the effort, expense, or bother.
Trade it on a 4x4.

i concur, u dont want to get into a project of this magnitutde and then not be able to finish it, which could make the truck worth very little, or have something go wrong, im not nockin ur mechanical skills, but theres alot of work with what ur lookin at....better to just sell the 2wd and pick up a 4wd of the same year for prolly less then u sell ur 2wd for
