Does anyone know if the TTB drop brackets from a 4x4 Ranger will bolt onto the frame of 4x2 Ranger? Basically are the frames the same. I want an extended cab to put my running gear into and it would open my possibilities for buying one if this would work! Hope someone on here has some advice! Thanks Jamie.

Wont work.

The TTB and TIB trucks use different engine cross members.

The 2wd crossmember is narrower and that prevents the brackets from the 4x4 from mounting .

If you modify and mount brackets anyway the rear lip of the crossmember interferes with the differential case.

Frankly I'd suggest doing a Solid Axle Swap.

a solid axle swap on a 2wd makes a lot more sense than chopping up a
perfectly good 4x4.

My frame is twisted to SH!T (front & back) or else I would put an ext cab body on my frame. I like my short wheel base compared my 2 buddies ext cabs in the bush! Not quite ready for a 460 and D60 yet, but soon! I have 4.56 gears and a mini spool for the rear to get in for may long! Thanks for the info saves me going to the wreckers and taking pictures & measurements!
