4x4 ball joints

I have a stock 2001 ranger 4x4, and i was going to replace all ball joints with a kit ordered online. The problem is there seems to be at least two different styles of upper control arm joints. Is there a sure way to order these and know they are correct other than just looking at them? My control arms look the same on each side to me.

Then order the kit that has 2 full upper control arm replacements.

Some of the earlier rangers had a 2 piece arm only on the passenger side.
