4x4 after trail repair

went wheelin this pm and lost 4x4 on the trail-no noise,no drama just gone-so we found a flat spot and jacked up rf and removed wheel and the warn hub only as not to disable on the trail,and the guy pulling it apart said it looked as though something had come apart inside hub,not axle but he wasn't sure what.there was a VERY thin washer lookin deal that seemed a little chewed up but that was it so he discarded washer and reasembled and it seems to work fine. now that we are home what should they start with at the shop ,a bearing repack or what would you say is best place to start
