I have an 86 ford ranger 2wd and I was wondering if I could use a 4wd lift kit on it. It's all the same right? 4wd just has a huge a$@ pumpkin in the middle other than that it uses the same brackets and everything correct?
Thanks guys.

The bracket for the passengerside axle is different to account for the difference in frame crossmembers and axle length (also radius arms are different too, if the kit has them).

ive had the problem where, i want to give my 2007 2wd a lift but i am having trouble finding a lift that is not spindles as i want to keep my stock wheels until i can upgrade them further most of the suspension lifts ive seen end in 97...does this mean i will have to find a way to fabricate my own lift? any help would be awsome
