4wd conversion with sas

hey guys here my situation. got a 97 3.0 v6 2wd. got it for free from my grandfather and i want to keep it. i live in pa and i want to get around in winter and im in highschool so i like to trail drive on the weekends. i want to make it a 4wd. i have a local junkyard that sells stuff for dirt cheap. i found a early bronco not full width dana 44 with lift coils and a track bar mount still atached to it already pulled from bronco. what else will i need besides stuff for the sas. New tranny? or new output shaft with tailhousing. and what should i do for transfer case? and tranny crossmember? thanks a bunch

New transmission (has to be from a 3.0L 4x4 truck) The trans crossmember is the same.

As for transfercase, find a Borg Warner 1354 out of a 90-97 ranger (all the same) Preferably get a manual shift model.

sounds good thanks a lot man. and i will be definatly going with a manual transfer case. what should i do for driveshaft. the dana 44 comes with a drivveshaft. wil that bolt right into my transfer case or do i got to get one made

you'll probably have to have it shortened at least if not have a crossbreed of the two shafts made.

Or lift it untill it fits, lol. that was a joke btw. I will be watching this thread as im probably going to do the same next summer.
