Hey guys been on here off and on for years, just reopened an account.. Now to the Dilemma, I just picked up a 1996 exploder with 199k. When i got her it had an error code p0761 for shift sollenoid 3, which is the overdrive sollenoid. It shifted very well thru D just didnt have engagement of OD whatsoever, I changed the filter and fluid, checked the wiring on the sollenoids specifically the EPC solenoid and #3 and all was good. I readjusted the bands for OD and the intermediate band and BOOM overdrive is there and totally functional, But now i have a 2/3 Flare im trying to track down as the problem wasnt there before the fluid flush. Anyone have any ideas? engagement is excellent in all gears now just have the flare issue.
