Hey guys,
How hard is it to replace the tailshaft bushing in a 4r44e? I just replaced my rear seal that was leaking a few days ago and it is already starting to weep again. I checked the slip yoke for bad spots while I had the driveshaft out and it was fine. I also checked the u joints and all I could feel was a slight amount of play in the tailshaft bushing, not the u joint. I have seen ones much worse that never leaked, but I don't know anything else that could cause it. I guess a special puller is needed to get the old one out? I have bushing drivers to put it back in. Is it hard to get the tailshaft on and off?
Thanks
Bryan
