ok so i ripped the exhaust out of my ranger to make it easier to do my SAS , now the cats wont fit , the Y-pipe is still in there i was just gonna make a piece of plate that bolts to the Y-pipe flage where the cats usually go , and just cut a hole in it and weld a piece of pipe in there but im wondering if that will cause to much restriction as the hole in the y-pipe is an oval shape and it would be going directley into a piece of round pipe , what do you guys think , dose anyone make somthing that reduces from the oval hole to round pipe ?

thanx:icon_welder:

use a piece of 2.5 inch pipe , take a rubber mallad and oval it out .... once u get it to fit weld it up ...worked great on mine before I changed my set up

just run true dual exhaust it will be sweet

Mine also has 2 1/2 pipe ovaled and welded to the flange, I suggest at least running a single aftermarket cat though.
