400 into ranger: need help

you will need some better heads if u really want to make some decent power, 400m heads dont flow very well, the most power u can get from the stcok heads is about 400-450

400-450 would be nice for a street strip monster but more would be nice...... would love to get my hands on some aussie heads but those dont run that cheap. hopefully guy workin with can get hold of some for a decent price but dunno.... what would be some decent heads sides the aussie?

we startin to think old school and just go wit hthe trukc its in, its still a ranger, just the 78 f100 custom model. When we get done with it, it will be completely custom and the size of a regular ranger, gonna hack 3 feet out of it and lighten the truck up also. Plus want have to go buy one, just use the one its on. Body in decent shape also just few dents and dings in it
