Evening Guys

I have a 88 B2 with the following problem on the transfer case. When I switch it to 4HI the truck doesn't move. When I switch it to 4 LO it moves but doesn't always start in 4LO but will after a few feet.

I assume that I have trouble with the transfer case and will swap it out, but I am not sure that part of my problem might be the auto hubs. It will after driving go into low but who knows when will happen.

We got 15 inches of snow this morning and I am having problems going anywhere.

Any idea's

I have a 86 Ranger with the same set up that I am going to use for parts. I swapped out the auto hubs last October (07) and will now take them off the Ranger and put them in the B2

Thanks

Gene

PS I have the motor off the transfer case at the moment and I switch it with pliers. Only temporary

Problem UPdate

Ok guys,

Started my swap of auto hubs to manual. Got tehe driver side done and just happen to look at the passenger side and NOW I know why I didn't have any 4 X 4.

Long axle is partial missing. Not the u-joint but the fricking whole shaft

Now the fun really begins.

Going to do a search on HOW TO now

THanks

Gene
