4 wheel parts problems

Anyone else having problems ordering through the 4 wheel parts website?
I ordered a set of wheels from them friday night, webpage wouldnt load, no recipet no confirmation e-mail(still not one today either). Called them saturday after seeing that they ahd withdrawn money from my checking account. The guy said they should be here monday (5-4-09) well, i decided to call them around 10 in the morning just to see if they were actually going to be here today. The woman asked me to hold as i had to give her my phone number since i didnt recieve any e-mail or anything for my order number. She called the internet dept. switched back to me and said sir, the wheels u ordered are on back order from the manufactorer because of fitment issues(i've seen 1 other ranger with the exact wheels i ordered already). I said ok, so that means im not getting those wheels and my account is being refunded? She said yes, your order has been voided and your account is being refunded and should show up within 24-48 hours. So, i decided to go with a diff. set of wheels that they had in stock and ordered them. I head off to work, and go out to lunch around 7pm and see that i have a text from my wife saying that my wheels came today, i'm like WTF?, i call her and say the wheels i ordered friday and was told this morning werent going to come are on the porch? she replied with a yep, they are right here.Well, i checked the account tonight, and see no deposit made, i only see that they fully withdrew my money on 5-4-09. So what do u guys think? I e-mailed the customer support telling them i wanted to cancel my order on the other wheels since i actually got a confirmation e-mail with those. I'll probably call the guy i talked to yesterday about ordering the other wheels to make sure they stop the shipment of the other wheels.

What do you guys think?I'm kinda confused, saturday they said they would be here monday, which they did come today, but then when i called monday morning they said that i would not recieve the wheels yet they showed up at my doorstep. What should i do? try to see if they will still work or call them and see wtf is going on?

thats kinda messed up. give them a call and try and figure out what the hell is going on. im about to order wheels from there but now im kinda nervous about it. what wheels did you order first?

I don’t use 4WPW anymore, A few years ago I ordered a lift for my Toyota that was supposed to be in stock but after 10 days I called and they said it was on backorder and wouldn’t be shipped for three weeks and then suggested that I just purchase a lift that was $400 more…I ended up finding the lift I wanted for $200 less from another website and had it to my door in 5 days

I had ordered 15x10 Mickey Thompson Side-Biter wheels. I was told i wouldnt get them as they were on backorder for fitment issues yesterday, but they arrived. So today i test fit the wheels and i dont see what the fitment issues are. They arent close to touching anything. So i decided to go ahead and have the tires mounted, mounted them up and there arent any fitment problems whatsoever. I'm waiting for the guy to give me a call back as to cancel my other rims and get this one straightened out, the guy actually seemed really confused when i told him the wheels i wasnt supposed to get arrived yesterday.He said that's really strange since i even said you wouldnt get them.

EDIT: I would strongly advise to just call their toll free number 1-877-474-4821 and then just hit 2 for a sales rep. They actually send you a confirmation order and can tell you wether or not they have that wheel in stock ect. ect.

i ordered a 8000# winch from them and got 2 3000# winches sent along with it, i said o well they messed up the order and gave me 2 free winches, but i returned them because i had no use for them.

Jusr got off the phone with 4 wheel parts, the guy told me somehow myorder had gotten duplicated and they had voided the one order but the other order had shipped, and he said he's got it all straightened out and is sending an order to UPS to stop the shipment of the other wheels and to return them to where they came. Also said that my account would be fully refunded the amount that was taken for the other wheels. The other wheels i had ordered with the Procomp 1079 polished rims, they ahd those in stock in florida i believe, i'm just glad he got it all straightened out. 1-877-474-4821 and then press 1 and put the extension 5317, his name is Simon, i'd recommend him to any of you guys, he was very helpful and curtious.

i ordered a set of pro comp wheels (chrome 6059) 2 fridays ago and they said theyd be here the following monday and they showed up with no problem

hopefully i will be ordering a set of the Procomp 1079 polished rims soon and maybe they wont be having problems by then

Glad to hear you got it all worked out. Kinda wierd they thought the first set you ordered would have fitment issues. I believe the new Side-Biter wheels have the same backspacing as the Mickey Thompson classic series. People have been running them on their Rangers for years.

Yeah, the wheels have a 3 and 5/8's backspacing on them. I made sure i test fit the rims on the front and back to make sure nothing was going to rub since they told me they had fitment issues but they didnt rub on anything and had them installed.
