ok so i am picking up the 4" rear leafs and shocks and pitman arm from this kit for 50 bucks :yahoo:, ( thought it was a hell of a steal so i grabbed it) im wondering now about the front end should i bother with getting drop brackets and just go with coils? anyone know what thease run seperate? , i dont think ill be doing crazy stuff as it is my daily driver, but the 4" lift will be a nice addon.

You cannot lift it 4" without brackets (2" max). You won't be able to align it.

yeah that was a dumb question i guess.... lol, do you know of any placei could pick up a set of cheaper drop brackets (not drop plates)?, ive seen a few guys on here fab up there own but im by no means that good of a welder. also if i were to add f150 coils ( i think those give like 3" lift after correct?) with the rear skyjacker 4" lift leafs would i get about th same stance the truck has now just taller? ill prolly end up gettting they SJ coils anyway but just throwing around ideas to see what you guys would think is best.

x2 with 4x4junkie.

You HAVE TO HAVE the drop brackets, and even after that ya better get some big ass washers to throw underneat the coil mounts to get the camber right, and some of those camber bushings too, they let the guys play with about 2-3 degrees of camber.

check the trs fab store thing here. they sell some of those drop brackets seperately.

It's usually much cheaper to buy a complete kit than to try to piece one together (unless you can find good deals on used parts).

Being you already have a set of rear springs, I'd look around for a kit that just includes blocks or something for the rear.

Another Colorado member! Watch craigslist. these lifts are on there all the time. I picked mine off there for dirtcheap plus a 1piece driveshaft and manual hubs!!! Ive got a pair of 5.5 superlift coils that you can HAVE. I dont know if they would work with a 4" bracket or not. it might take some of the rake out of the front end. Ive also got a few different size blocks that you could use in the rear to make it ride even.

really?! damn that would be a major help, i think the 5.5" would work, my trucks a supercab, so the weight would prolly let it sit at 4", we should meet up some time, exciting to find other people in colorado!!! id appreciate that allot lol, thad cut a good chunk outta my cost, ive been meaning to go to a junk yard and see if i can find a set of radi arms, anyone know what radius arms will work on our ttb? or does it have to be spesifically made for the ttb? i saw a skyjacker set on a full size bronco the other day and an idea popped in my head, just not sure about if itd work.. prolly not.
P.S. 4x4junkie arnt the rear leafs considered a stage 2? im purttysure the stage 1's just include blocks.....

Here's an idea... Install the 4" rear leafs without the factory block. It will net you 2" of lift in the rear. And for the front, use 2" leveling coils. It will end up being just a 2" lift... but you will be able to align it without getting the drop brackets for the front and it will eliminate the blocks in the rear.

The Skyjacker Class 1 kit comes with radius arm drop brackets for the front (retains your stock radius arms)
The Class II kit comes with extended radius arms.
Either one can be had with blocks or new leaf springs, you have to specify blocks or springs when ordering the kit.
