4" or 5.5" lift?

Just ordered all new shocks for this lifted ranger. Seller said 33's with 4" lift so that's how I ordered shocks. I just went outside and measured from original axle perch to the current leaf spring bottom. I get 5.5".

That upper block is part of the Original suspension. Only the lower block is part of the lift. The lower block may not measure 4 inches high. Sometimes different springs or shackles are used to achieve part of the lift height.

BTW, Stacking blocks is not the preferred way to do a lift. It puts a lot of stress on the u-bolts.
