At 2 inches the brake hoses are already maxed out.

You could go cheap and relocate the brake hard lines and drop them down, but you still run the chance of breaking something.

Just shell out the money for extended lines and be done with it.

Extend the front lines, the rear will be fine.

you may be able to get by with some axle shims ( wedges ) to help with the pinion angle....or you can look for a 98+ SC with a one piece driveshaft ( really the best way to go )

as for the brake lines....you can look in the tech library for the longer rubber lines by Raybestos...i got mine from NAPA for $21 apiece...

1998 or newer super cab ranger. They have a 1 piece rear drive shaft instead of the 2 piece you have.

You can also get the same drive shaft from a 2001-05 explorer sport trac.

eBay has the extended brake lines for about a hundred plus shipping which is 5or 10 bucks
