4" front leaf springs

What are a set of used 4" leaf springs worth? They came off a Ford F-250 front and I had them on a built d44 axle. I sold the axle, but the guy told me to keep the springs and sell them... that they are worth a lot and hard to find. Any truth to that? Thanks

Well it depends on their condition. And whatever somebody is willing to pay for them really... put them up on craigslist for best offer and see what happends...

If nobody calls than their not worth much....

Well I did. The 1st 45 days nothing happened. I renewed the ad and got an offer for $50. If you're looking for leaf springs for the front of your truck, you would expect to pay more than $50, right? For the back, yeah, I can see $50 for the 3 inch springs. I have a barn full of 3 inch springs.

Each? Or for a pair?

for the pair... a private sale, 50-60 max...

there is a core on there also, i don't remember how much, but it was 80 for both WITH core
