4:56 with 35's

Would this be good? I have a 4.0 stick in my 94. Right now I have 4:56 with 33's and its really low. I'm putting long travel suspension and getting it ready for the desert and need new tires anyways so would 4:56 and 35's be good?

Personaly , I like 4.88's and 35's.

If your actually spending a lot of time in sand, I'd go 5.13's. 4.56's and 35's will move (I've got them and 37's) but sand is a LOT of drag and you will appreciate the extra gear. It only puts ya at 26xx rpm at highway speeds, and there will be very little load on the engine at those speeds so mileage won't suffer too much.

I'm running 4.56's with 36" tires and an automatic. I have not had any issues with the gearing/tire size.

I have 4.10s and 33s. Although adequate, I still think it's too tall.

Maybe with our dollar being at par with the American dollar, I may think of changing. Who knows what the future holds.

does pretty right on i think! still got enough grunt to spin the tires on anything but dry pavement.

4.56s were enough for my 35's, could do a brake torque on dry pavement until the rear u-joint snapped..
