Could it be done easily? It's based off the Lima 2.3l which did come in the Ranger as the normally aspirated form. So I would figure that if you put the engine mounts from a 2.3l into the truck with the 4.0 that it should drop right in. I figure that it wouldn't be a downgrade, it would be more of an upgrade because I can get about 190hp with that motor. Anybody want to elaborate? Would this kind of swap be hard? I figure the hardest part would be wiring. It might not even be.

If you do this just remember that the bellhousing bolt patterns are different from a 4.0 and 2.3.

It all depends on what you use your truck for.

Theres a guy on here building kits to put a turbo on a 4.0 so I would try to look around for him. Ya you're not running hgh boost but its more then you had and hops up a 4.0.

Haha. I'm just throwing ideas around and the fact that I just want a turbocharged truck gave me this idea.
