4.0l running like crap

i have 96 ford ranger 4.0l v6 .
The problem i am having is that when i start up the truck it runs like craps as if the motor is misfiring as and as soon as i step on the gas it bogs down as if its has no power and it does this till the motor warms up and then it goes away but it not throwing up any codes except 2 which are p0401 not enough for the egr\ p0304 #4 cylinder miss fire!! I have replaced the coil and the spark pluggs with the oem ones and still have the problems and if anyone could help let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you change the sparkplug wire on that cylinder? Check the compression on #4 too. The EGR code is likely a DPFE sensor but check it out before you replace it. A stuck EGR will make it run like crap, take it off and make sure it isn't clogged or stuck.

no i did not change the wires yet but i change to a different set and got the same results!!!The problem is not the compression because i have checked all of the cylinders and they are with in spec!!!!The egr is brand new and i reset the codes and ran to reprogram the computer which is done!!!! but i did have one problem which is the heater for the o2 took forever to reprogram the computer !!!!!
