I'm asking $260 + shipping. That get's you the adapter plate, clutch disc, and pilot bearing. You supply the bolts, and use your flywheel and pressure plate and starter. RB

I got the installation instructions done tonight and I've got 3 kits almost ready for sale. My plan is to put them up for sale in the classified section and I'll post a link here. One of these kits is already spoken for so once the other two sell if anyone wants more i will make some more. I would like to see these installed and working before I make any more due to the fact that mine is in an Aerostar and there is a good chance these will go in something a little more RBV based. I should have these ready tomorrow but because of the holiday I wont have shipping info till Monday. RB

can i use a ranger flywheel, pressure plate and starter with this kit?

Yes, I assume they are the same as the Explorer ones i used. I have 3 kits all ready to go. I've been real busy building a pole barn, and haven't had time to put them up for sale. Tomorrow I'll put them up for sale. RB

Pull style hydro slave with stock ranger master. (Probably not stock for an Aerostar) LOL

do you have any pics of this set up?? where did you get the slave from??

thanks
Kris

Hi I just joined this forum because of this thread. Just recently bought an automatic 95 ranger with a bad tranny for dirt cheap, and have a 435 and dana 20 I'd like to stick in there, as well as a full width 44hp front and 60 rear. But my 435 doesn't have a bell housing. Just wondered if you had looked into using any bell housings off a tranny that bolted up to the 4.0. Saw you had said you tried with a TK4, but wondered if there were any other possibilities.

The problem is that the 4.0L bell's are longer than the SBF bells. I could find you a bell easy enough or you can get them from the junk yard or from Broncograveyard.com. I can also get you an adapter for the 435/20 setup if it's a 2wd 435 or a divorced 435.

why couldnt you use a bell from a 84/85 f150 with the xternal slave?? what TOB did ya use
