New to this group but I have a 1991 ford ranger with a 4.0 v6. Truck ran good then got parked for about a year and now it wont start. Fuel pump works and is getting fuel tried to spray a little starter fluid but still wouldnt work. Engine turns over good but just wont start. Thanks in advance

Means its not gettin spark.

Coil pack is my guess

Right. If it won't fire on starting fluid there is no spark.

The coil pack will have 4 wires going in, one of them is red and thicker than the others, it should have 12V key on. start by checking that and let us know what you find.

Also, it would be good to get a spark tester and check for actual spark.
