which would win a race? 94 ranger 4x4 4.0 auto supercab vs 01 f-150 5.4 4x4 exstened cab, both stock also what r the 1/4 mile times and hp. i tryied to look around and couldnt find anything. thanks.

my dad has a 1994 ranger 4.0 stock and i have a f-150 with 4:10 and a chip pushing 35"s and i can smoke him

I have an 03 ranger with an intake and exhaust.and I can beat my buddys 150 on the road.he has every bolt on for it but a throttle body. and it is tuned by troyer performance.but he will eat the ranger up at the dunes due to lack of tork and on the road he will also get the whole shot until we hit about forty five.

I'm pretty sure the F150 would win. 94 Ranger should have around 160-170 HP, a newer F150 should be around the 310 HP mark. I know the Explorer is quite a bit heavier, but my work truck (2003 F150) can smoke my Ex.
A recent road test clocked the F150 going through the quarter at 16.2 seconds at about 85 MPH. I'd tack on a couple of seconds for a 94 Ranger.
