I bought an 89 bii about a year ago and caught the bug.
I bought a 91 explorer to do a 4.o swap painted the bronco while it was apart
now I swapped the complete wiring harness dash wiring and everything.
the engine and trans are not in yet but all the wiring is, I put the battery in hooked everything up but nothing works any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
:icon_confused:

Define "nothing".

The engine ground carries a lot of the grounding work.

the ground cable is bolted to the frame I hooked the starter up and clamped the end of the ground that bolts to the engine to the bolt hole ear on the starter still can't get anything to work lights gages not even a buzzer been following the power for hours and still no luck could really use some help

Start following the power.

Ditto.

Check all of your grounds. Make sure the two wires that go to the neg cable are attached also.

...I so want to do the 4.0 swap...and I know with the help of these folks (especially adsm08 & many others all things are possible with their knowledge) but I have to work hard to figure stuff out...not that mechanically gifted...keep digging and keep asking - these guys will get you there!
