finally, after 4 1/2 weeks of jumpin the yards for misc parts, and what not hte 2.9 is gone. after finally getting the stuff together everything was a complete swap no cut wires, no splicing, no bs. and it fired up on the first try!! it is definely worth it. everything is a noticable change and i love it, and highly recomed this swap.:headbang::icon_cheers:

unless your converting to V8

Congratulations on a job well done! :icon_thumby:

Enjoy your newly discovered torque :D

Cool.
I am wrecking a '94 Areostar van with a 4.0. I'm thinking about swapping that engine into my '88 Ranger unfortunatly it won't be a plug and play but well worth it in the end. The 2.9L doesn't have enough grunt for my likings
