4.0 sohc with mustang 5.0 t5 manual tranny

Yeah I realize this thread is over a year old but I was wondering bout putting a T5 in my ranger. So if I got a transmission out of say a 2006 4.0 mustang with a 5-speed it would bolt up to my 4.0 in my 1994 ranger right? Then all I would need to do is find a 4wd tail housing for it and would I be able to bolt my BW1354 to it?

How do I mate 4.0 OHC tranny to 4.0 OHV engine ?

I am interested in mating an automatic 2 wd drive transmission from an Explorer with the 4.0 V6 OHC to a 93 Ford Explorer 4.0 V6 OHV engine.

Can't seem to find an answer of the Forum. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
