4.0 Rebuild Info Please!!!

Hello folks! New guy here full of dumb questions for ya! This should be fairly easy for all of yinz, though... So, I'm rebuilding an early pushrod style 4.0 for a buddy of mine. this is the first ford engine i've ever messed with, so i'm needing some tips or info on the build, and again, i apologize if i ask a stupid question. basically, anything you feel is important for me to know, please tell. one thing i've been wondering about is valve adjustments, and how you go about them on this motor? basically, anyone able to give me a procedure to follow for adjusting them? that would be much appreciated, as well as anything else your willing to tell me. thanks to all in advance for your time and patience!

They are self adjusting, and use hydraulic lifters.
