4.0 radiator swap

doesnt seem like my radiator is a drop in fit as many other rbv people have described. ive figured out the top mounts but the bottom mounts are giving me trouble.

It's hard to see, but it looks like you have the wrong radiator. The one you have uses pin style bushings, and it looks like you need the cradle style bushings.

Also, you may want to resize the pics.
 
any one have a pic of the proper radiator?
i was thinking of notching the radiator supports to allow the downward cylinders to straddle them.
 
is this the one i would have needed?

It "looks" like it, but I never trust pictures on auto parts websites.
 
Figured it out, the 84 supports are differernt soppoesdly so a little modification is neccesary.

 
The "issue" Is that the 4.0 Radiator is not a "Bolt-in" on an '83-84

But you already figured that out.
 
yup figured that one out, my exact words were f*** it, wheres my sawzall, any way shes mounted and looks great.
