How do I know what I have? And what do they stand for? I have a 1991 4.0 Could I have an ohm?

ohv = over head valve
sohc = single over head cam
ohv = has pushrods and a camshaft located in the middle of the block.
sohc = has a cam shaft in each head, no push rods.
00 and older 4.0 rangers have ohv's. 01+ 4.0 rangers have sohc's.
What's a 4.0L OHM?

Awesome! thank you ohm ? I was looking at a sticker inunder my hood about specs for spark plug gapping and it said 4.0ohm
