4.0 OHV oil flow path

Does anyone have a diagram / picture of the oil flow path for a 4.0 OHV? I am trying to figure out if I may have a passage blocked or if it is the oil pump.

(99 Ranger 4x4, 139,xxx miles).

I seem to not be getting oil to the camshaft position sensor. I replaced it once and now am getting that squealing noise again. I am pulling the intake this time to change it. When I pulled the valve covers they appeared dry inside (not much oil that I am used to when pulling valve covers on other engines). Also the lifter valley appears to be quite dry. The pressure gauge in the dash shows good pressure so I am thinking it isn't the pump. Not getting any lifter noise either, runs very smooth.

I have put in SeaFoam a couple of times also. I really don't want to pull the engine if I don't have to.

Any ideas are appreciated.

The gauge in the dash is a poor instrument to base diagnosis off of. Its basically an idiot light with a needle. As long as there is 8 pounds of oil pressure, the gauge will read "normal". A good test would be to remove the oil pressure sender, obtain a mechanical gauge, and screw it in in place of the sender. Then start the motor and see what you get.

Sounds to me you are LOOKING for trouble! Remember that is a 12 year old vehicle! SO WHAT if it has worn out two different CPS's??? Put another one in there and keep on truck'n!
