4.0 Fuel Pump

First off, yes, I tried "search". LOL

Ok, we are working on a 94 Ranger with a 4.0 and 5 speed. This is an off road only Class 7 desert truck. We are going away from the stock fuel tank and going to an aftermarket steel shell, plastic bladder fuel cell. We will be running external mount fuel pumps, but I cannot find which pumps are best for this application. Any help or direction is MUCH appreciated.

You might want to look into the high pressure pump from an 86-88 Ranger/Bronco II.

They provide enough pressure and flow for a 4.0, and were externally mounted on the frame with fairly standard fittings. This means you would be able to mount it in a convenient spot and have a fairly easy time with hookups.
