4.0 Code

Hey guys,

Lately I've been getting the check engine light. The only thing it keeps throwing is P1151, Manufacturer Control - Fuel/Air Metering. It usually stays on for about a week or so, then goes away. Took it to the local Ford dealer and they didn't know what I was talking about. Saying their codes only go up to the 1000 area. I have noticed that after driving it for a few min (10-15), anytime I come to a red light / stop sign it wants to stall out. The RPM's drop to about 500, or so the tach reads. Any thoughts on what part(s) this is refering to? I'm open to suggestions. Thanks guys.

P1151 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean - Bank No. 2


Sounds like a faulty O2 sensor to me.

You need a new Ford dealer, if they don't know THAT code.

Thanks for the reply Earl. I was a bit puzzled as to why they didn't know the code, figure they would know them all. Anyway, I'll look into the O2, I had just replaced bank 1 about 2 weeks ago and then this started happening. Thanks for the links as well.
