4.0 cam in a 2.9?

Though....I can't keep up....busy busy.

Oem have never used bronze gears on roller camshafts. They are notoriously un reliable for any extended use. They work fine for race cars. 15-20,000 miles in a street car tops. I would be very surprised if any aftermarket manufacturer has ever made a bronze gear for a Cologne V6.
Oem uses "induction hardened" ductile iron . Some people call it cast steel but its hardened ductile iron. Ford, GM, Chrysler etc..
