Wondering what kind of mileage people are gettin , i have a 1996 4x4 4.0L 5 pseed ranger with 141k on it , L/S 8.8 , 3.73:1 gears and stock 265/75 R15 Tires, gettin around 16 to 20/21 , wonderin what other people r gettin

im getting 20-21 all around out of my 94 ex with 3.23 gears, so i dont think your doing too bad.

2002 - 4X4 - 4:11 - 4.0 - 5 speed - stended cab

Running around town with the air on now..17.8 on today's tank 18.3 on tank before this one. I drive it like an ole lady.. shifting at 16/19 rpm.
Big Jim :headbang:

got a 96' ext. cab 5speed with 137000 on it getting about 18-20 on the high way not too bad

When I had my '97 4.0 4x4 5 speed Ranger with 35" tires and 4.56 gears I was getting 16 in the city and between 18-19 on the highway.

I also had some things done to the engine like a Screamin' Demon coil pack, 8mm plug wires, gapped out plugs (0.065"), underdrive crank pulley, exhaust, and intake.

i get about 19/21 give or take a little bit, avering about 320 miles to a tank running 235/75/15 - we will see what i get when i put the 31/10.5/15 tires on next week

17 average. never had it on the highways enough to figure out highway miles

man there is seriously something wrong with my truck. I got a whole wopping 11.8 average out of my single cab

I get about 16~17 mpg out of my '99 Ranger 4x4 with about 78k on her. I drive a lot of country roads.... I stay off the highways whenever possible cause Michigan drivers stink!

yea , i have not had it on the highway enough to record the gas mileage there , i get different gas mileage depending on how i drive , if i drive smooth i do really good , but if i am with my friends i am spinnin wheels and slamin gears , but i am also wonderin what i will get when i put the 31 M/T's on it , i at 1 time had 31x11.50 r15 mud tires on it and i only got 13 with it , but they were overly agressive tread.
