My credo
Fix it till its broke!
Well I wanted tow hooks on the front since I've had to be pulled on two separate occasions and it was nerve wracking since I was concerned about something bring yanked loose in the process. After looking around and not finding a cheap way to do it, my brother in law gave me two hooks and at that point I said f*ck it lets make it work. This is the end result.

Also added a much needed receiver and hitch.

Some modifications were required and I ditched the lower part of the valence since I didn't need it, nor did I want it bothering me when I do need to use the tow hooks.

Guess they must look like a$$ since no one has commented on them

Hmm. That's new. Cutting out the front plate is a different & clever way to do it. Got a photo from below that shows the whole tow hook & how it's bolted on? Those would be so handy.

Yea I'll snap a few in a bit but basically it's just two bolts going into the frame with a threaded block on the inside of the frame.

Kinda like this but the block is flat on both sides. You can use this setup or nuts, or both for extra security.

Ah, so that's how ya did this trick! Oh yeah, those two bolts look plenty strong on those beefy tow hooks. They sure look manly. I like it. :-)
